Exploring Tree are high quality, inspirational, Christian lead Early Learning Centres inspired Reggio Emilia.
About us
The moment you walk through our doors you will experience early childhood education as you have never seen, heard or felt it before. The attention to detail in our centres are unsurpassed. Our playgrounds are special and incorporate natural play spaces, with endless opportunities for exploration and imaginative play. There is an open, relaxed atmosphere where we cater for each child's intellectual, aesthetic, ethical, social, emotional and physical development, for the best start to education cradled in a Christian environment. We aim to create a stimulating, attractive, supportive and responsible environment which is conducive to learning. Exploring Tree Centres are inspired by a range of perspectives and approaches to early childhood education that are innovative, inclusive and invigorating. We hold that children are strong, capable and resilient; rich with wonder and knowledge and flourish in all their diversities and differences. Every child brings with them deep curiosity and potential that drives all kinds of possibilities to understand their world and their place within it. We have designed our centres through consultation with children, families, educators, early childhood experts, the National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework. The opportunities for your child include: arts, music, numeracy and literacy languages, technology, and sustainability education. Our interest and concern for your child is foremost at all times, so please feel free to speak with staff at any time. We believe that every child is a miracle from God. The centres have a high level security and surveillance system in every room, which ensures peace of mind. All visitors must enter through our reception area, and access to the classrooms is impossible without our staff. Exploring Tree centres are fully registered, licensed and accredited, and meets the requirements of Camden Council, the Department of Community Services, and the Board of Fire Commissioners.

Friendships that Last a Lifetime 🌟 At Exploring Tree Early Learning, the bonds formed between our educators and little explorers are truly special. 💕 These relationships build trust, nurture confidence, and provide a safe space where children can explore, grow, and thrive. 🌱✨ The care, guidance, and encouragement from our educators become a cornerstone of each child’s development, helping them navigate the world with curiosity and kindness. These moments aren’t just about today—they’re the foundation for tomorrow. 🏗️💛 Because every smile shared and every milestone celebrated helps shape the incredible people they’ll become. 🌈🌟 #ExploringTreeEarlyLearning #EarlyLearningMatters #EarlyChildhoodEducationAustralia

We are proud to partner with @materdeicamden and the NextPath Continuous Learning Young Adults program. We have had the pleasure of welcoming Natalie to our Oran Park Centre, working with our Explorers as part of Natalie's first workplace learning placement 🌳 #ExploringTreeEarlyLearning

Exploring the nature of light can be truly fascinating 💡 Our Explorers have been delving into perspective, shape, and shadow by manipulating light with everyday objects. By using simple materials in imaginative ways, we foster a deeper understanding and encourage children to explore, question, and discover, just as the Reggio Emilia approach advocates for in nurturing rich, experiential learning environments 🌳 #exploringtreeearlylearning #earlychildhoodeducationaustralia

Being outdoors and surrounded by nature during a walking meeting can have a calming and rejuvenating effect on the mind. The fresh air, sunlight, and natural surroundings can help reduce stress, improve mood, and increase feelings of relaxation and well-being. This change of scenery can also stimulate creativity and enhance cognitive function, leading to improved problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking. We are truly appreciative of our management team for implementing walking meetings. This initiative has been incredibly beneficial, especially considering the abundance of educators in our team. It allows them the flexibility to step away from our centres while still being productive. We are grateful for this thoughtful approach to work-life balance and well-being 🌳 #exploringtreeearlylearning #earlychildhoodaustralia #earlychildhoodeducation

Exploring Tree Early Learning reposted this
🌳 On Saturday the 15th of June, Bishop Peter Lin, SAP staff, members of Cobbitty Anglican, and the surrounding community, came together to celebrate the opening of the new Exploring Tree Early Learning childcare centre on site at Cobbitty Anglican. We are excited about this project because… ➡️ It makes use of vacant parish land to serve the community. ➡️ It is a great example of a parish-led project with a development partner that funded the project. (Interested in this? Speak to your regional SAP contact if you would like to investigate parish property initiatives like this.) ➡️ The centre has three Christian educators and operates with clear Christian values. Enrolments are full with over 100 on the waiting list – and they haven’t even opened as yet! ➡️ The playground is well in excess of the minimum standards, with a rural theme including a windmill, slippery dip, and gumnut shaped play areas, that were imported from Denmark! ➡️ The internal building features high ceilings and generous spaces, face brick feature walls, with all the furniture at the children’s scale. ➡️ They have three therapy cavoodles looking out for children’s well-being. As more young families move into the area, there is a growing demand for childcare places. Brett and Robyn Legge (he’s a builder 👷♂️ and she’s a childcare operator 🍎), Founders of Exploring Tree Childcare, have a passion for Christian education and a heart for reaching families with the gospel. They have put their passion and faith into building and operating this brand new, state of the art childcare centre which has activated an underutilised parcel of land and created a significant asset that both the parish and the local community will benefit from for decades to come. Praise God! 🙌

The Unspoken Bond: Therapy Canines and Their Explorers 💚🐾 In the world of therapy canines, there's a connection that transcends words. It's a language of love, understanding, and support that can only be felt through the touch of a wet nose, the wag of a tail, or a soulful gaze. Through this unspoken connection, explorers learn invaluable lessons of empathy, compassion, and resilience. They discover the power of a silent friendship that never judges, always listens, and consistently offers a warm, comforting presence 🌳 #exploringtreeearlylearning

“Learning and teaching should not stand on opposite banks and just watch the river flow by; instead, they should embark together on a journey down the water. Through an active, reciprocal exchange, teaching can strengthen learning and how to learn.” - Malaguzzi, L 🌳 #exploringtreeearlylearning

“Children need the freedom to appreciate the infinite resources of their hands, their eyes, and their ears, the resources of forms, materials, sounds and colours.” Loris Malaguzzi 🌳 #exploringtreeearlylearning
