Koonoona Park   📍Koonoona Park, Villawood NSW    Play by Design worked with KOMPAN Australia to deliver this one of a kind KOMPAN LOOPS play structure at Koonoona Park for Fairfield City Council.    The eye-catching structure draws everyone’s attention with its fluid shape and bright green colour! This is the perfect piece of equipment for primary aged kids and teens wanting to test out their ninja warrior skills! It gives this older age group a place to burn some energy, challenge skills, exercise and most importantly have fun, which is often lacking at playgrounds.     The playground also offers swings, spinners, basketball half court, a younger children's play area, table tennis, fitness area, toilets and accessible path system - it really does cater to all visitors!   Check it out!

📍R.M. Campbell Reserve, Bankstown NSW Play by Design delivered this fantastic outdoor gym at R.M Campbell Reserve for Canterbury Bankstown Council in 2023.     The gym showcases some of KOMPAN’s best-in-class cardio and strength fitness ranges. The cardio range has been awarded the Good Design Award for its innovative and high-quality design. These pieces of equipment have adjustable resistance and are ergonomically tailored to specific workout needs.     The strength range uses the same biometrics and resistance as indoor adjustable strength machines. It’s whale watching season! And we’ve spotted a breaching whale at Cronulla Mall! Our custom breaching whale completes our staged installation of 2 fun whale themed playgrounds at Cronulla Mall for Sutherland Shire Council. Come and play! 🐳 In collaboration with KOMPAN Australia

Play by Design worked with KOMPAN Australia to design and supply this state-of-the-art playground for students at the Northern Beaches Christian School. Physical, social and emotional wellbeing are valued equally to academic performance at the school and this playground is the perfect example of this mantra. The soaring skywalk is a thrilling challenge for kids and a wonderful way to test skills and build confidence. The jellyfish pod and suspended pommels provide a fun place for groups to meet and socialise. The junior area offers an abundance of embankment play, jumpers and slides. What an amazing school playground encouraging physical activity and embracing the true spirit of fun! #customplay

We worked closely with KOMPAN Australia’s design studio to produce this iconic gumnut structure that provides amazing play value whilst also sitting comfortably into the surrounding natural environment. The gumnut design was specifically chosen to complement the local gum trees which feature brightly coloured gum blossoms. The resulting playground provides not only an exciting playground but also a beautiful sculptural element for the new community of Googong. #customdesign #customplay

Opened in 2023 by Campbelltown City Council, Milton Park Playground is a fantastic example of an inclusive playground which offers fun for everyone. Play By Design supplied the large custom wheelchair accessible play tower which features an abundant amount of ground level play, slides from multiple levels, climbing elements, play panels and lookout points from lofty heights! This is a fantastic example of equipment that is designed to be used by all, inviting children to play together! Play by Design also supplied some other great pieces, including a Robinia balance net, play hut, springers and embankment slide.
