Big news! Underwear for Humanity has been named a finalist in not one but TWO categories—the Emerging Champion Award and the Circularity Award—by SustainabilityTracker.com! 🎉 These nominations mean so much to us because they recognise the heart of what we do: creating sustainable, socially impactful underwear while pushing boundaries in circularity and ethical business practices. Here’s what we’re most proud of:  - Recycling Pioneers: We started Australia’s first underwear recycling program to tackle textile waste and keep undies out of landfill.  - Work-Training: Our work-trainging partnership with Social Engine in warehousing supports Afghan refugee women, helping them build essential skills and move into full-time employment.  - One-for-One Donations: For every item sold, we donate a pair of undies to a woman in need. So far, we’ve donated 34,049 pairs! These nominations are a testament to the power of purposeful business. Thank you to Sustainability Tracker for the recognition and to our amazing community for supporting us every step of the way. Together, we can make a positive impact—for people and the planet. 🌏💚 #SustainabilityAwards #Circularity #SocialImpact #UnderwearForHumanity

  • At Goods 4 Good, we spend a lot of time looking for founders who are passionate about the problem they are trying to solve. Rebecca Healy is one of those brilliant founders. Her story and the impact she is creating is extraordinary. Her charity rescues more than 3 tonnes of plastic car bumpers a week which are unfortunately destined for landfill. Plus they employ women who face barriers to getting employment. Goods 4 Good sells drink coasters which are made from these car bumpers. Let's support these businesses for good.

Do you remember a few years ago when I won the Manufacturing Skills Australia development fund? I used the money to further my skills at TAFE NSW and completed a Diploma in Sustainable Practices. After working my butt off for two years and with the amazing support of my educators and peers I was awarded both Agribusiness Student of the Year Award and overall TAFE Student of the Year, TAFE Excellence Award. Yes this is a brag but it is so much more than that, TAFE NSW is an amazing institute and works very hard to make learning accessible, enjoyable and rewarding. I have many industry connections through studying at TAFE and a real life practical education that is applicable to my work and my business. A special thanks to the amazing Alison Mitchell and Belinda Bean

  • Thank you SAARI Collective for including Goods 4 Good in this guide. Let the sustainable festivities begin!

Founder and CEO at SAARI Collective, a media startup and community for South Asian Australians. Board Chair at 100 Story Building, a social enterprise for young creative writers. Impact25 Award winner.

The SAARI Sustainable Diwali Gift Guide is the number one Google ranked search result in Australia for the words 'sustainable Diwali' - after only 1 day! We've found out that SAARI Collective is the ONLY Australian website that has written about how to have a sustainable Diwali for gift purchasing and rituals. Seriously, it's about time to we changed how we practice the festival of lights. It's time we as a Australian community of nearly a million Indians and over 1.6 million South Asians started to marry our traditions and celebrations with sustainable practices that protect the earth. I'm really proud of Radha Mishra and our team for putting together this story, and I hope it helps usher in a new wave of eco-friendly practices for a festival I love, but often has so much waste and environmental damage attached to it. Each year since SAARI began we have written about how to have a sustainable Diwali. This year our Gift List is the biggest yet - with homewares, fashion, alcohol and wine, garden, decorations, toddies, personal stylists and of course sweets! The Gift List is also inspiring because we have sourced all the gift providers from within our own South Asian Australian community, including our South Asian founders. Will you take the pledge to have a sustainable Diwali? Read the full Sustainable Diwali Gift Guide and share it with your loved ones: https://lnkd.in/g2ra3e3C #diwali #sustainablediwali

Founder @ Goods 4 Good | Social Entrepreneurship

July started off with some great events for me as a Founder of Goods 4 Good. I had the pleasure of sharing how Launch Pad - Western Sydney University has been such a great support to me, at an event where 12 aspiring entrepreneurs pitched their innovative startups. I also had the wonderful opportunity to share my founder story at iAccelerate at the University of Wollongong. These experiences not only help me grow as a speaker but also allow me to share the valuable lessons I've learned along my entrepreneurial journey. Thank you Mabel Joe and Kylie Flament for giving me these amazing opportunities. #Entrepreneurship #StartupLife #PublicSpeaking #ContinuousLearning #Innovation #socialenterprise

  • Goods 4 Good had our first pop-up at the Festival of Solutions with 1 Million Women and it was a fantastic day! A huge thank you to Two Good Co for collaborating with us and generously giving away 10 of their recipe books to 10 lucky winners. Two Good's mission to rebuild self-worth and independence, and to support, empower, and employ women at risk of homelessness, is truly inspiring. We were also thrilled to have Jo and Fiona from Chocolate On Purpose and Karthika Sivarajan from Auroraz Soulful Gifts join us with their stalls. These two social enterprises are proudly part of the Goods 4 Good platform. This event was a wonderful opportunity to connect with consumers who appreciate and support the positive change that social enterprises bring to the world. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made our participation in this event so special! 💛 hashtag #Goods4Good #FestivalOfSolutions #TwoGood #SocialEnterprise #PositiveChange #CommunitySupport

  • An amazing Social Enterprise you can support below. It was great to hear Sakshi pitch Sewing The Seeds at the StartSomeGood Pitch for Good event and learn the difference they are making in these women's lives. They not only provide a safe workplace but also healthcare amongst other support. This is what a well thought through, long term, sustainable Social Enterprise looks like. #socialenterprise
