Last week we ticked over $200,000+ in funds raised for Cure Cancer (Game On Cancer) over the past 2 years of support for their Superhero Streamers and Holiday Spectacular campaigns. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and passion of the amazing creators, talent management agencies and their communities we’ve partnered with. In March 2024 we were presented with an Inspire award by the Governor General at the Cure Cancer Awards night which we accepted on behalf of everyone we have worked with on this incredible achievement. We have also had the incredible opportunity to visit one of their many research centres to hear more about the work this fundraising supports, hear from the researchers directly themselves on their breakthroughs and aspirations, and how passionate they are about their work. We have a current fundraising campaign for Game On Cancer and aspire to hit another large milestone for them. If you are keen to support, please contribute here: https://lnkd.in/gPX3GsT7 Here’s to the power of community and smashing even more milestones together in the future. Let’s keep gaming and fundraising for a better tomorrow 🙌🏼

We're a week in and so excited for some big plans for #BeyondTheScreen 🙌 With 40+ Creators already signed up to fundraise through their own channels, Three Tournaments across multiple games, and a handful of brands already showing their support. We still have a few spaces for both creators and other brands to jump on board for product and donation matching too! goto.game are stoked to be working with so many incredible teams across Beyond Blue 🤝 There have been a lot of hands on for this project, including so many from our own Digivizer teams to really set this campaign up for success - We can't wait to post more about these exciting ideas and milestones 🙏
🚀 Exciting news! Introducing #BeyondTheScreen. In the online world, everything about our lives can seem incredible on the surface. But when the screen turns off, the reality may be very different. 81% of all Aussies are gamers - we see you and we hear you! Throughout August, we'll be partnering with content creators to get the word out about all the resources available to help you look after your own mental health, and how you can support others you're worried about. We would love your support! Are you a content creator, or just interested in finding out more? You can learn more and join us in supporting the mental health of Aussie gamers at bit.ly/3y4ugEc. Let’s show how the gaming community can help change lives! 🙌🏻

The landscape of media and entertainment has undeniably shifted, with video games emerging as a dominant force. This isn't just a casual pastime anymore. Across a global survey of over 73,000 consumers, a huge 85% actively engage with games, with 80% playing them directly. But the reach extends far beyond the controller. Nearly two-thirds of consumers actively consume gaming content, while over a third participate in other areas of the gaming world – think discussions, podcasts, conventions, and the ever-growing esports scene. This deep engagement across multiple areas emphasises the real truth: gaming has become a significant cultural touchstone. For today's marketers, reaching players requires a comprehensive strategy. It's no longer enough to simply deliver a playable experience. We have seen success with engagement strategies that resonate with gamers across the various channels they frequent. By meeting them where they are – whether it's through gameplay, content consumption, or community participation – you can unlock a powerful and highly engaged audience. Need an introduction to the gaming space? We’ve got you. 🤝 Source via Newzoo: https://lnkd.in/g-dfm65r

Yes, that is billion with a "B". Hold on, the snapshot from Interactive Games & Entertainment Association (IGEA) gets even more interesting. This growth is all about digital downloads and subscriptions ($1.6 Billion alone!), which means there's a massive audience of engaged gamers hanging out online. Imagine your brand chilling alongside them, building connections and recognition in a space they love - Whether that be across brands' social media, or even joining in on the rise of in-game advertising on platforms like Roblox, or even with branded Fortnite and Counter-Strike maps! Think about it: passionate fans, engaged community, and endless creative possibilities. 💡 Ready to take your marketing game to the next level? goto.game can help you craft a killer strategy that uses the power of gaming to reach your audience and achieve your brand goals. Let's talk engagement. 📈 A recent RazerANZ post simply asking their audience who to follow garnered a massive 60,000 impressions. That's compared to 10,000 impressions for a giveaway post offering a fancy new headset in the same week - “A Follow or a $300 Headset and the chance to be followed came out on top?” That’s what we asked too. Here's the real win: The who-to-follow post sparked way more conversation, with 384 replies and 540 likes with over 2,200 total engagements - Absolutely demolishing the giveaway's 388 total engagements. Not to mention the 60+ posts from community calling our their excitement about the brand recognising them. Do you want to build brand loyalty that goes beyond a fleeting moment of "📣 hey, free stuff!"? It's time to ditch the transactional and focus on active community engagement. Here’s the stuff we’ve figured out recently: 💡 Be the Industry Expert, but be in the Industry: Ditch the boring press releases. People crave insights and genuine passion. Share industry secrets, recommend hidden gems, and spark discussions that position you as a thought leader. Show you actually care about your community, not just yelling at them with product info. 💡 Two-Way Street, Not a Megaphone: Don't just blast marketing messages. Respond to comments, answer questions, and join the conversation. Basically, be a friendly face and not an actual brand. 💡 Shine a Light on Your Community: People love to share stories. Celebrate their achievements, showcase their creativity, and create a space for them to connect and build relationships. We do this by amplifying our User Generated Content. 💡 Think Outside the Giveaway Box: Giveaways are fun, but they shouldn't be your only move for engagement. Host AMAs with industry experts, run creative challenges with meaningful prizes - Generally, just do some cool shit. The Takeaway? People value and engage with connection over a quick freebie.

We're absolutely beaming here at goto.game ❤️ This year's #SuperheroStreamers campaign, a partnership with the incredible Game On Cancer team (Cure Cancer), absolutely smashed expectations. Together with our amazing partnered creators, we raised a huge $69,463 AUD for groundbreaking cancer research. This wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and passion of the 30 incredible creators who jumped in and streamed for a cause. From the huge ‘F&$K Cancer’ Apex Legends Tournament (raising an incredible $10,327!) to Jack Hudson's mind-blowing 50km charity run ($8,000!), the creativity and commitment were truly inspiring. A huge shoutout to Cure Cancer for their tireless work in the fight against cancer. We're honoured to have partnered with such a vital organisation and joining all the teams’ efforts in achieving over $220,000 (🤯🤯🤯) for Cancer Research. This incredible achievement is a testament to the power of community. Gamers came together, creators championed a cause, and goto.game provided the strategy to make a massive difference. It's the kind of win-win-win that makes us truly proud. 💪 👇 Feeling inspired? Want to leverage the power of influencer marketing for good? 👇 If you're a brand or charity looking to make a positive impact, we'd love to chat! goto.game is a passionate brand agency who are ready to rally behind causes we care about. Let's connect and see how we can smash some goals (Although, no promises that Jack Hudson will run 50km for you 😅) #SuperheroStreamers #GameOnCancer #gotogame #charity #influencermarketing
