This evening, IAQ partnered with the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning (DSDIP) for an insightful scene-setting reception, hosted by MinterEllison at their Brisbane office. Great to see our 2032 Games Taskforce Co-Chair, Bradley Wood, be invited to comment on the 100-day review into Olympic infrastructure, planning and governance in the Brisbane Times.
As the debate continues around how to make the most of the opportunity the 2032 Games presents, I was invited to speak with the Brisbane Times in my role with the Infrastructure Association of Queensland. I am passionate that we need to look beyond the stadium debate and focus on precinct planning to ensure we deliver a meaningful post-2032 legacy for venues and infrastructure.
