Here are some tips: • Understand what adjustments are and the support available. • Read your organisation’s reasonable adjustments policy (if you have one). • Refer to your workplace adjustment policies in the job ads. • Offer adjustments at all stages of recruitment. • Give candidates a direct contact for adjustment requests during recruitment. • Ask all candidates and employees about their work preferences. • Arrange adjustments before a new employee starts. The @aushumanrights commission is calling for Expressions of Interest from people with disability who are interested in attending the following international human rights forums: • 18th Session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities • 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women. Applications must be submitted with the support of a civil society organisation that has or can obtain the appropriate accreditation. Applications are now open until 13 December.
