We are proud to be supporting this important research to improve treatment for women diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.
Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month: February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, which aims to raise awareness and funds for one of the most challenging cancers to diagnose and treat. Our research group at University of South Australia is proud to be working towards a personalised medicine strategy that tailors chemotherapy to the unique biology of each patient. We are grateful to the Letitia Linke Research Foundation for their instrumental support in driving our research, especially the generous support for our 2nd year PhD student Jack Scanlan. The Letitia Linke Research Foundation is a organisation run by volunteers who are passionate about ovarian cancer education and research. Please consider supporting their fund raising efforts. This week we have welcomed Paula González Menéndez back to the lab, as she embarks on her PhD journey in ovarian cancer research with a scholarship from the University of Adelaide in collaboration with Prof Oliver Schilling Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau. #ovariancancerawarenessmonth #ovariancancer #personalisedmedicine #UniSA #LLRF #LetsTalkOvaries
