Last Friday, MATES in Construction NSW teamed up with GJ Gardner Homes Orange and GJ Gardner Homes Tamworth for not one, but TWO incredible charity golf days! Both events were a huge success, bringing the community together, and raising over $22,000 in Orange and almost $18,000 in Tamworth. We were thrilled to host a delegation from British Columbia, Canada, at the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre to observe our General Awareness Training (GAT) with apprentices. Delivered by MATES NSW Field Officers, Andrew and Marc, the session left a lasting impression on our guests, who were inspired by how engaged and invested the apprentices were throughout the training. The visit sparked important discussions around industry involvement and strengthening interactions with our stakeholders.
