The MostynCopper team was on hand for the Tree Planting and Smoking Ceremonies which heralded the commencement of construction of Stage 3 of the Muswellbrook Hospital Redevelopment. Representing Hunter New England Local Health District, MostynCopper is proud to partner with fitzpatrick+partners and Richard Crookes Constructions to deliver this critical health infrastructure to the local community. The facility includes a new operating theatre suite and steralising department with work expected to be completed in 2027. Construction for the $30 million Wentworth Health Service Redevelopment is on track to be completed later this year. The redevelopment will deliver a purpose-built facility to transform healthcare for the Wentworth and surrounding communities. It will include additional inpatient rooms with views of the Darling River and community outpatient health services, to provide care closer to home. The hospital has been designed in consultation with the local Traditional Owners, the Barkindji People, and staff and will feature outdoor spaces, landscaping, signage and artwork that focus on Connection with Country. The team at MostynCopper is excited to partner with Baseline, appointed as Head Contractor on Stage 2 of the works at St John XXIII Catholic College, Stanhope Gardens. Acting on behalf of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD), the project will see the delivery of a new Research and Inquiry Hub ready for College operations from Day 1, Term 1, 2026. The state of the art facility - designed by Watson Young Architects, in conjunction with Design Team members Ethos Urban, Wilde and Woollard (NSW), Northrop Consulting Engineers, SAAD Consulting Engineers (Sam Al Maraee), BM+G and Apex Studio Landscape Design (Amar Zein) - is a two storey building of 27 GLAs (2500m2 general learning and 540m2 specialised learning), inclusive of * a research and general learning hub, * two science wet labs, * a design hub with adjacent maker's spaces and print rooms, * multimedia and recording space, and * a presentation amphitheatre with adjacent amenities. The project will include a new substation and connect into existing infrastructure via a pedestrian link bridge for access. MostynCopper looks forward to working with our project partners in bringing this exciting project to life, delivering on CSPD's vision of creating innovative and contemporary learning and teaching spaces. Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) has appointed MostynCopper as Project Managers for the delivery of two stages of new facilities at the St John’s XXIII Catholic College in Stanhope Gardens. Designed by Watson Young Architects, in conjunction with design team members: Ethos Urban, Wilde and Woollard (NSW), Northrop Consulting Engineers, BM+G and APEX Studios. The project has made significant progress over the past six-months with Head Contractors for both stages now appointed. Stage 01 involves the significant refurbishment and fit-out of Staff Offices for 126 Staff Members, three (3) new Hospitality & Food-Tech classrooms with additional café and canteen space, and a new biomechanics lab and gym in an existing undercroft zone. Head Contractor Trinity Fitout and Construction has commenced on site with a staged completion and handover ready by April 2025. MostynCopper is pleased to be working with all stakeholders to bring this project to life, delivering on CSPD’s vision of creating innovative and contemporary learning and teaching spaces. MostynCopper is pleased to have formally submitted our Ermington Hotel DA Application with Parramatta City Council on behalf of Sonnel Hospitality. The Application seeks approval to redevelop the site to provide a state of the art sports bar, restaurant, kids area, function spaces and bakery offerings as well as 40 accommodation rooms. Healthcare workers in regional NSW will soon benefit from newly completed accommodation units at Finley, Narrandera and Cooma hospitals. Six self-contained units in Finley and three units in Narrandera are now ready, with staff expected to move in from early next year. Twelve new units have also arrived onsite in Cooma this week and are being prepared to welcome health workers. The new units are as part of the NSW Government’s $45.3 million Key Worker Accommodation Program designed to help recruit and attract healthcare workers to rural and regional communities.
