Building a connected network of solar and storage systems that radically changes the way renewable energy is delivered.
About us
The NRN - National Renewable Network is building a connected network of solar and storage systems that radically changes the way energy is delivered. We use the latest renewable energy technology and infrastructure to simultaneously lower the cost of renewable energy for households, businesses, and energy retailers. Lower emissions, lower energy pricing, and a greener future for Australia. As an Energy Infrastructure business, we are challenging our current expensive and outdated electricity supply chain by upgrading homes and businesses to produce, store and use their own renewable energy. Our subscription service offers Energy Retailers the ability to upgrade their consumers to renewable energy to improve remote energy management, profit margins and make a step forward to a cleaner energy grid. Meanwhile consumers can enjoy Solar and Battery at no cost and access to exclusive and more affordable energy tariffs.

We’re incredibly proud to be part of this groundbreaking initiative, which provides social housing tenants access to cheap, clean energy through rooftop solar. Projects like this represent exactly what we stand for: making renewable energy accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances. This trial, as featured in pv magazine Australia, is about more than just installing solar panels—it’s about creating opportunities, reducing energy bills, and contributing to a sustainable future for Australian families who need it most. At NRN, we believe renewable energy should be available to everyone, and projects like these remind us why we do what we do. Thank you to all our partners and teams working tirelessly to make this possible. Together, we’re proving that renewable energy isn’t just a luxury—it’s a necessity, and we’re excited to continue leading the way toward a cleaner, fairer future. https://lnkd.in/g2s8YzXi

At the recent Energy Retail Excellence Conference, our Head of Energy Products, Jess Padman, joined industry leaders to discuss the exciting transformation happening within the energy sector. During her session, Jessica shared the potential for innovation and how we can better support customers through this transition, highlighting the vast opportunities ahead. While progress is being made, there’s still a long way to go – and the potential to make a real difference is enormous. She spoke about the value of third-party-owned assets, like NRN - National Renewable Network model, in simplifying customer solutions. This model is particularly beneficial for underserved groups, such as renters or those unable to afford upfront investment, allowing them to participate in the renewable energy revolution. A huge thank you to fellow presenters: Tom Carroll (Iberdola Australia) Julie Hirsch (AGL) Brett Murphy (Tesla) We’re excited about the ongoing conversations and the opportunity to collaborate to drive sustainable, inclusive energy solutions. 🔋⚡️ Conference: https://lnkd.in/gbWFRTx5

Let's talk growth! From a $2M target to $4.3M raised in an oversubscribed pre-Series A round, we're delighted our vision has such incredible backing. This year alone, we’ve scaled from $250k in renewable asset sales in January to $3.5M by November — an extraordinary 1300% growth in less than 12 months. Our mission to make renewable energy accessible and affordable is driving this momentum. We're transforming how Australians access clean energy by bundling solar and battery systems into standard energy plans with no upfront costs. This funding propels us toward deploying solar and battery solutions to 2,000 homes per month. Thank you to our incredible team, partners, and investors for helping us create a cleaner, more sustainable future. 🚀 Thanks to Investible, Electrifi Ventures and Jelix Ventures! https://lnkd.in/gJRAFqWS
