About us
OOXii Global is a social enterprise aiming to make glasses accessible to all. One billion people worldwide are vision-impaired simply because they lack access to glasses. This limits there ability to study and work, and affects psycho-social well-being. Uncorrected refractive error (URE = blurred vision which can be improved with glasses) is a leading cause of vision impairment worldwide, and we are addressing it with our innovative OOXii Vision Kits.

OOXii Global reposted this
"Thanks KTF for bringing me back to the world", John said to our eye-testing teams, perfectly summarising the incredible impact that happens when you give someone back their sight. 🌏 👓 John, a teacher at Bareji High School, lives a 2-3 hour drive from Popondetta but has recently made several unsuccessful trips there in hopes of getting an eye test done. When he heard that the EyeSee PNG team, supported by OOXii Global, was offering free eye tests in his village, he was first in line. In a touching twist, the Community Health Worker conducting his eye test was none other than Maggie, a former student of his. John was proud he had played a part in equipping Maggie with the tools and knowledge that now enable her to serve her community. He walked away from his consultation with EyeSee PNG with a pair of new prescription spectacles and a renewed sense of hope.
