Origin House is officially open. We’re thrilled to see this incredible, five-bedroom home ready to be handed over to a family in need on the eve of the holidays, thanks to the tireless work of The Victorian Homeless Fund (VHF) and Fairhaven Homes. Alongside contributing to the construction costs of the home, we’ve also installed solar panels and will provide the family with free energy and internet for the next 12 months. This project – and our partnership with the VHF – is part of our commitment to helping support Australians experiencing hardship, including those impacted by family and domestic violence.

The first stage of Eraring’s Large-Scale Battery Energy Storage Project is officially energised 🔋💡 The site’s new substation is now connected to the grid, kicking off commissioning and remaining on target to commence operations late next year. With the recent approval to fly drones beyond visual line of sight, Origin's drone pilots can now operate remotely from its operations centre, even managing drones at assets located hundreds or thousands of kilometres away. This includes using innovative drone-in-a-box technology, where drones can take off, land, and follow set flight paths autonomously, making asset monitoring safer and more efficient.
