At Orora, we’re committed to innovation, and the recent introduction of glass food jars into our offering is a great example. Spring Gully Foods, the first to receive our Australian-made jars, had previously been importing from overseas, and we’re pleased to offer a locally made solution. ✨ Celebrating Diwali, the Festival of Lights, at Orora✨ Last week, we lit up our head office in Melbourne, Australia with decorations, delicious food, and sweet treats to mark Diwali. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as a team and share in the joy the festival brings. Wishing everyone a bright and prosperous Diwali!

We love being part of the community at Gawler, and are proud of the contribution we make to the local economy. This year, more than 120 craft brewers from Australia and New Zealand entered the 2024 GABS Can Design Awards, showcasing the unique and eclectic designs participating for the coveted Orora Golden Can Trophy.   GABS invites craft brewers to submit their most creative can designs from the past year, where both public votes and expert judgment determine the winners. Orora is a proud presenting partner to the annual GABS Design Awards and this year the competition was nothing but short of amazing!   Taking home first place in Australia was WA’s Beerfarm ‘Fruitasaurus Rex’, designed by Steffi Schmidt. We were delighted to welcome back Minister Gabrielle Williams MP to our cans facility at Dandenong last week to meet with Chris Smith, Executive General Manager, Orora Cans. It was a great opportunity to discuss the progress we’ve made since her last visit in 2023 for the opening of our second line. The Minister also had a closer look at work being done to prepare for the forthcoming Helio digital printer.

CAPI has expanded its partnership with Orora to launch the zero-alcohol Free Førm range, featuring three cocktail-inspired flavours: Australian Spritz, Low Sugar Margarita, and Craft G&T.   Packaged in Orora’s 250ml Slimline cans, the new range continues the collaboration between the two brands, promoting the growth of sustainable Australian-made packaging.   “This was a great opportunity for us to test alternative packaging for CAPI products.
