Services | Our expertise in complex project delivery has been crucial to delivering world-class medical facilities for St Vincent's Hospital Sydney. Most recently, our team constructed a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) pod directly above a functioning ICU pod. To maintain a 'zero disruption' policy in this live environment, our team worked closely with the hospital to forward plan all activities. When requested, works were immediately halted to prioritise urgent patient care. Faced with restricted street access, materials handling was made possible by carefully stationing a tower crane on the building's roof. The issue of weight was resolved by an engineering solution that positioned the crane's structural steel base on top of a lift shaft. Services | Our Tier-1 Remedial division harnesses technology and technical precision to enhance quality outcomes. This can be seen in the removal and replacement of non-compliant cladding on the iconic Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand at Royal Randwick Racecourse. In creating a 3D photographic model of the external grandstand through a point cloud survey, our team was able to pre-measure and then physically check measurements on site for pre-fabricated panels in production overseas. Matthew Hall and Brian Ring – both promoted to Project Managers – have shone in our Leadership Development Program over the past five years. In working their way through site management to project management, Matt and Brian speak to the program’s nurturing success. In being promoted to Leading Hand, Jake Milic has successfully completed his Cadetship with Paynter Dixon while studying a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) at Western Sydney University. Our Cadet program opens the door to valuable industry experience as participants work through all disciplines of the business in a structured format – from design, estimating and pre-construction, to on-site construction and contract administration. A graduate of the Cadet program and ongoing participant of the Leadership Development Program, Josh Taylor has steadily progressed from Foreman to Site Manager. Community | Our regular volunteer sessions with Thread Together are a highlight of the calendar. The charity collects fashion excess from clothing brands and redistributes to people in need. Every day, the Botany warehouse receive palettes of clothing to categorise and sort. That's where volunteers come in. Completed project | Broken Hills Musicians Club. A renovation of this iconic club in far west NSW has focused on enhancing accessibility. New features include accessible toilets, additional ramps and the installation of a lift.
