So good to get my boots dusty and to visit a company that manufactures high-quality building products and systems here in Australia.
Yesterday MECLA Chair Hudson Worsley toured MECLA member Metz Group's Sydney head office and distribution centre. METZ is an Australian manufacturer and importer of ceramic tiles and construction materials, grouts, finishes, and photovoltaic cladding systems. METZ have been actively engaging other MECLA members such as Capral Aluminium to source Low-CAL aluminium extrusions, and designing some very interesting low carbon solutions to the market. Thanks for the tour Metz Group and Ian Ellis, Steven Taylor, Enver Kolac!

Presync is delighted to help shape the collaborative approach to net zero! Through our work with clients, the Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance and events like the #netzeroconstructionsummit we are stubbornly optimistic that change is possible.
The inimitable Hudson Worsley delivering a Chair’s welcome with all his signature panache at the #netzeroconstructionsummit in Sydney. Excited to see the action that comes out of the discussion today.

Presync is delighted to have facilitated another successful renewable PPA. Well done to Ben Waters for his modelling and market knowledge to achieve such a positive outcome for our client and another contribution to Australia's energy transition!
Ampcontrol has signed a 10-year Agreement that includes a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with progressive energy provider Flow Power to source renewable electricity that will offset the operating emissions for its NSW sites and support the local renewable energy industry. This long-term renewable Power Purchase Agreement allows us to directly support our peers in the renewable energy industry and lead in our commitment to reducing emissions from manufacturing and the decarbonisation of industry, starting with our operations. “We want to lead the global energy revolution, and that begins within our business. Through changes made to our operational emissions, Ampcontrol can walk the talk in reducing our environmental impact and making more sustainable business decisions,” says Rod Henderson, Ampcontrol Managing Director & CEO. It is estimated we will reduce our operating emissions by a further 25% from our 2020 baseline, demonstrating our firm commitment to their interim net zero target of a 60% reduction in operational emissions by 2030.
