Our apartment development in Denman is progressing well. Precast lift shafts are up, and concrete retaining walls have been poured. Footings and in-ground services continue as we prepare for the structure to start going up!

Today these three Projex ‘golfers’ are taking on the Cancer Council’s The Longest Day challenge. 72 holes of golf in a single day all on foot! They’re just past the halfway mark and going strong. Stage 1 is now complete and open for business at the Tuggeranong Southern Cross Club! The new gaming lounge and amenities mark the first stage of the club's full refurbishment and expansion which we will continue to deliver.

Our Academy Close development is progressing well with all 30 house slabs poured and the internal works of some houses nearing completion. The staged approach of this project sees houses at various stages of completion throughout the site as well as ongoing road works, retaining walls and landscaping. This development will comprise 30 new homes to accommodate Australian Defence Force members and their families. CaseMeallin

The new pavilion building at Phillip Oval is racing along with the blockwork and first-floor slab complete. Once the last of the structural steel is installed, we move to the fitout stage of the build! This new pavilion building at the iconic Canberra sporting ground will provide improved access and services along with increased capacity for spectators. CK Architecture Australia

Things are racing along at Denman! With the extensive civil works completed, we move into the construction phase of the project. Footings and lift pits are in, inground services are underway, and retaining walls, slabs, and precast will commence soon. This new development will comprise 24 two-bedroom apartments with undercover parking.

We're excited to announce the award of a new project for Canberra Southern Cross Club in Tuggeranong! The club is to undergo a major refurbishment and expansion which will be separated into stages to ensure continued operation of the club as works progress. Construction of the new gaming lounge and amenities is in full swing with the opening due at the end of November. The completion of this stage will lead into the construction of the new extension which will contain a central kitchen and bar, dining areas, gaming and sports lounge and amenities. Lastly, after this stage will see the construction of more dining areas, amenities, and the main reception. This project will result in a spacious contemporary aesthetic with a more functional layout and increased capacity.

Angus is one of our Project Coordinators here at Projex and has quickly risen through the ranks while completing his Bachelor of Construction Management which he recently graduated with Honours. As an employer it's really rewarding to play a part in the foundations of a young person’s career, particularly someone like Angus who exhibits so much commitment and drive each day he comes into work. We look forward to watching Angus continue to learn and grow in what will undoubtedly be a successful career!
