Remembrance Day falls on the 11th of November each year. On the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, a minute’s silence is observed and dedicated to those soldiers who died fighting to protect their nation. As a mark of respect, our offices will be observing a minute's silence at 11am as part of Remembrance Day to remember those who have died or suffered in war and armed conflict. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. Lest we forget. #RemberanceDay #LestWeForget

Each year, October 10 marks World Mental Health Day. For 2024, the World Health Organisation has set the theme as “Mental Health at Work”. At Sedgman Prudentia, we recognise that mental health is just as important as physical safety. This #WorldMentalHealthDay, we stand by our commitment to fostering a workplace where our people feel supported, heard, and empowered to prioritise their wellbeing. Whether it's through our ongoing mental health initiatives such as implementation of our psychosocial safety processes, or simply creating safe spaces for conversations, we continue to champion open dialogue about mental health. It's vital for all of us to check in with each other, continue to ask 'R U OK?', and share our stories.  Mental health challenges don’t discriminate—they can affect anyone, at any time. At Sedgman Prudentia we are extremely proud to be making a significant step in our reconciliation journey through reaffirming our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Our RAP commits us to meaningfully and practically contributing to the important work of reconciliation and relationship building with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The development of our Innovate RAP has been informed by the successes and challenges faced throughout our second Innovate RAP. We have incorporated our RAP actions into our day-to-day operations which has resulted in sustainable programs and meaningful outcomes. We are proud of our achievements throughout the delivery of our second Innovate RAP, particularly given the significant growth and expansion in the business over this period.
