Get to know how #pumpedhydro technology works? ⬇️    👉 Water is pumped from a lower reservoir to an upper reservoir using surplus renewable energy generated by the wind and sun. ☀️   👉 At times when there’s not enough renewable energy to meet demand, this stored water is released from the upper reservoir. 🔋 👉 The water runs downhill through underground pipes to turbines to create electricity, ensuring there is reliable power. ⚡️     Pumped hydro energy storage makes it possible to rapidly release stored power for use by Queensland homes and businesses when they need it. 🕢💡 💧 #QldHydro
