  • Our A Little Ray of Giving initiative is filled with stories of generosity and Christmas spirit. One touching story was shared by Cameron Smits of Ray White Swan Hill about a couple who lost two children and now donate gifts to families in need each year in their memory. This year, they donated a Vuly trampoline. Huge thanks to Chris, Kim, and Sam for their generous donation! We're blessed to see our community's generosity, especially as many face tough times. The Swan Hill team donated to Mallee Family Care, a leading service provider in northwest Victoria. In the Barossa, the Two Wells team supported Backpacks 4 SA Kids through community events, raising $781 and donating 152 presents. Ray White Rural Timboon contributed 31 bundles of children’s books to MacKillop Family Services. Ray White Goulburn partnered with STMVG for a toy run, collecting $3,000 and loads of toys for local kids in foster care. The Wamuran office has supported this initiative for 13 years, sponsoring the Santa Run and donating over 1,000 lolly bags. RWC Bayside collected over 300 gifts for the Redland Community Centre, bringing joy to local families. In New Zealand, Ray White Austar Realty supported the Give a Kid a Blanket campaign, while Ray White Morris and Co collected more than 200 gifts for Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust. In WA, Ray White South Perth partnered with Starick Foundation to support victims of domestic violence, aiming to bring smiles during the festive season. This year, Melbourne is Australia's Christmas lights capital, with an impressive 1,431 registered displays illuminating its suburbs. • A large Slacks Creek industrial site has sold for $3.8 million as south east Queensland industrial assets remain in hot demand. Located at 28-34 Allgas Street, Slacks Creek, the 4,633sqm was marketed by RWC Gateway agents Peter Laoudikos, Ben Sands and Lachlan Holliday on behalf of a local investor who had owned the property for two years. “The property presented a rare and exciting opportunity with dual truck access points and over 110sqm of street frontage in Slacks Creek,” Mr Laoudikos said. “A decommissioned batching plant, the property was sold vacant, providing an excellent chance for investors, owner occupiers, tenants, or developers to take advantage of such a large site in a busy and growing industrial precinct. “We received a large number of enquiries from a range of buyers, totaling 137 throughout the expressions of interest campaign. “However, the buyers are a well known Queensland-based concreting company who wanted to take advantage of the approvals for concrete batching to recommission the property with the council and will recommence producing concrete onsite.”

Strip retail centre sold to interstate investor for $4.5M by Ray White Commercial A strip retail centre in Brisbane’s inner-south at 212 Cracknell Road, Tarragindi sold for $4.5 million, by RWC Retail’s Lachlan O'Keeffe and Michael Feltoe. Initially taken to market in August 2023 - generating 230 enquiries - the multi-tenanted centre passed in at auction. The property was then under contract for $4.2 million, before subsequently selling to a NSW-based investor this year, which Lachlan O'Keeffe said was reflective of the renewed confidence in the retail market. “We believe this is the second best result in 2024 on a building sale rate basis amongst multi-tenanted retail centres in Brisbane. Together with our sales in Coopers Plains and Ashgrove - which complete the top three - we are continuing to see demand for these centres at record highs." Michael Feltoe added.
