⚡Australia’s largest energy transmission project, HumeLink, will get underway early next year after it received NSW and Australian Government approvals and the Final Investment Decision by Transgrid’s Board. The $4.89 billion project will reinforce the southern NSW electricity grid and enable the integration of new renewable generation, providing millions of Australians with access to cleaner and cheaper energy. Expected to deliver more than $1 billion in net benefits for Australian consumers, HumeLink will provide substantial opportunities for suppliers as well as jobs at both the regional and national levels. 👉Find out more: https://brnw.ch/21wPvXL #renewables #energytransition #makingitpossible Brett Redman Nadine Lennie Craig Stallan Jennifer Hughes Gordon Taylor Marie Jordan Maryanne Graham Stephen McSweeney

Hundreds of Aboriginal artefacts, some up to 3,000 years old, have been returned to Barkindji Country as part of the EnergyConnect project in south-western NSW. 🤝 Through meaningful repatriation ceremonies, these culturally significant artefacts were respectfully returned following the construction of a 159km section of this vital interconnector. ⚡🌱 Transgrid remains committed to managing Indigenous artefacts with care and respect as we build critical transmission infrastructure for the clean energy transition. 👉To learn more, visit: https://brnw.ch/21wPnze Elecnor Australia Everick #reconciliation #EnergyConnect #BarkindjiCountry #cleanenergyfuture #transition #transmission
