As we get ready to farewell 2024, we’re proud to reflect on the milestones our team has achieved over the past 12 months!
Some of the highlights:
📍 Global Defence Solutions (GDS) expanded into Queensland with the opening of our new Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facility in Bundamba. We also celebrated the launch of our Product Showcase in South Nowra.
💧 We forged new partnerships with Spacedrip and MSubs Ltd, launching the closed-loop water reuse system Spacedrip Rapid in Canberra and collaborating with MSubs on several innovative above surface vessel projects.
🏆 Alkath Group was recognised as a finalist in the Employer of Choice category at the Shoalhaven Business Awards and acknowledged as a Veteran Employment Supporter.
✅ Mellori Solutions became an approved member of the AUKUS Authorised Licence Free Environment, and fully registered on the JOSCAR-AU supplier accreditation register.
📡 Mellori Solutions delivered Blue Jay Mobile, an advanced EW sensor testing system, following live demonstrations at EWLive.
🔒 Global Defence Solutions successfully delivered its first secure containers to Defence and M1A2 Abrams Immersive Tactical Trainers in partnership with Thomas Global Systems.
🏥 Global Defence Solutions is on track to complete the delivery of lifesaving deployable health capability under JP2060 Phase 3 in January 2025.
🌏 We commenced our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) journey, reflecting our ongoing commitment to inclusion and community impact.

Today our team got together to host our 3rd annual Biggest Morning Tea event with a Bake-Off, a guessing competition and a raffle.
What a great way to raise much needed funds towards cancer research, prevention and support services, an initiative driven by Cancer Council Australia! ☕
A big thank you to everyone involved in organising this fantastic event and who contributed to our fundraising goal!
With 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, funds raised at biggest morning tea events around the country, help to bring us all closer to a cancer-free future.
