We are thrilled (and extremely proud) to share that Rewild Agency Director Sophie Hutchinson has been awarded the Living Future Institute of Australia (LFIA) Hummingbird Award announced at the LFIA AGM last week.   In the words of the LFIA, this award ‘recognises exceptional members of the living future community who, through their tireless dedication, inspire others to take action towards a socially just, culturally rich, and ecologically restorative world’.   The award is named after the story of the hummingbird who, despite its size, does what it can to help fight a forest fire. We might be biased but cannot think of a more deserving individual to be recognised as a Hummingbird this year. Soph’s unwavering commitment to regenerative design is demonstrated through the way she leads our team and works with our clients and partners to achieve excellent sustainable design outcomes for all projects she works on. As a result, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the end of 2024 than by congratulating Sophie on joining the Hummingbird Hall of Fame!    Sophie is joined by three other inspiring award winners this year – Archie Patel, Daniel Tordaan Barrell (Rubio Monocoat), and Nick H. (ADP Consulting Pty Ltd). A big congratulations also goes to Archie, Daniel and Nick!
