I'm here at the Land Environment Working Group (#LEWG2024) to learn more about the strategic direction of Army over the next few decades. There is a lot of negativity out there about Defence acquisition and sustainment but events like this attempt to pull the curtain a little so Defence industry can shape their own strategy. I hope to gain more insight over the next 2 days to help shape our path at Seitec into sustainment, across multiple domains. Reach out of your around! Seitec's Daniel Stevens and Alli Morgan recently attended the Defence Trailblazer 'Entrepreneurial Foundations for Defence' workshop, hosted by University of Adelaide. The 3 day workshop offered opportunities to connect with mentors (Hey there, Catherine Bair Ph.D.!!), investors and like-minded participants in the program, all while boosting our knowledge of Defence-based commercialisation techniques. All-round this was an amazing opportunity, and we're looking forward to seeing the rest of the group again in Canberra in a few weeks' time! Thank you to Paul Daly, Liz Kobold, Matt Anderson, Thomas Gretzinger, Vanessa Mercurio, Jess Masters, Heather Nicoll and the rest of the team for the valuable workshop; full of connection and education!
