The UndaTech team recently spent three days in Adelaide attending the Defence Trailblazer Technical Incubation workshop. It was an excellent opportunity for networking and participating in intensive workshops, as well as attending the MAST conference.

Co-founder Emily Pyke shared the UndaTech startup journey at the UNSW Founders New Wave Showcase late week. While we are still at the early stages, we hope our journey has resonated with the New Wave founders.

Thursday’s 𝟭𝟬𝘅 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆 was a true celebration of success 🎉 Each startup from across streams: All Industries 10x, Health 10x, Bio 10x, Climate 10x, and Defence 10x brought thoughtful and innovative solutions to some of the world’s toughest problems. But the real spotlight? It belonged to our founders. In front of 350 attendees, they shared a vision of where the future is headed. This was the best Demo Day! So many great companies, so much traction gained since the start of the program- not 1, but 4 🤭 founders were not able to pitch because they were too busy kicking goals in other places. 💪🏽💫 However, their teams are so strong, that they all nailed their pitches. UNSW isn’t just launching startups—we’re shaping industries and making strides in real progress. Since 2017, the 10x Accelerator has kept us moving forward and this 2024 cohort reminded us why we do this work.
