🎄 Wrapping Up the Year 🎁 This week, the Seven Miles Elves were busy spreading cheer at the Christmas Wrapping Station in Warringah Mall, supporting the incredible work of Bear Cottage Children's Hospice. Bear Cottage, located in Manly, is one of only three children’s hospices in Australia. They provide care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families, offering both respite and end-of-life care in a warm, home-like environment. At Seven Miles, we’re proud to support Bear Cottage all year round. For every kilo of Bear and the Bear coffee beans sold, $1 goes directly to help Bear Cottage provide care for these children and their families. We had an incredible time on Friday, August 16th, supporting CaféSmart at our Seven Miles Roastery doors in both Sydney and Wollongong. It was truly inspiring to see over 50 of our café customers join in, with local cafes fundraising for their communities by donating $1 for every coffee sold on the day. Thank you to our amazing sales team for driving this initiative and stepping up to lend a helpful hand at our cafe customers on the day of. What is CaféSmart? It's an annual coffee-led campaign that unites roasters, cafes, and coffee enthusiasts across the country to fight homelessness and support those at risk in their local areas. Thanks to CaféSmart, countless cups of coffee were enjoyed for a great cause, highlighting the community-driven efforts of the Australian coffee industry. Maverick or our limited-edition seasonal blends and single origins. What brought you into the coffee industry? I was a brand designer a long time ago and through that I was introduced to the industry when I took a role as a marketing manager for a coffee equipment company. 13 years later I have worked through almost every role in the wider business. How do you like to enjoy your coffee? I always start the morning with a double shot small flat white, and then it’s generally single origin filter coffee for the rest of the day. How long have you worked at Seven Miles? 2.75 years at Seven Miles but 12yrs for the wider group. What do you love about working at Seven Miles?
