Celebrating Over 10 Years of Impact on World Social Enterprise Day! Over the past decade, we've had the privilege of collaborating with the for-purpose sector, corporates, philanthropic organisations, and government to empower purpose-driven individuals and organisations to design, demonstrate, and scale their impact. Earlier this week, we celebrated our 10-year milestone with many long-time partners and supporters at Customs House. It was a special opportunity to reflect on the incredible journey so far and get inspired by the exciting possibilities ahead. We are deeply grateful for the support and dedication of our community - social enterprises, members of our Professional Impact Network, funders, partners, collaborators, mentors, students, and everyone who has played a role in our story, big and small. As we embark on our second decade with renewed vigour and a commitment to building a legacy of positive change, we invite you to join us. As the year wraps up, we're filled with gratitude for the support of our partners, clients, mentors, alumni, board members, and the incredible Social Impact Hub community. Your passion for creating a more inclusive, sustainable future inspires us every day. This year, we celebrated milestones, forged impactful partnerships, and deepened our support for changemakers. Here are just a few of the highlights that made our 2024 special: • Celebrated our 10th birthday with long-time supporters at Customs House on World Social Enterprise Day. • Equipped over 120 individuals with the networks and skills to embed impact through the Social Impact Fellowship, bringing the total alumni to over 400. Applications are now open for the 8th cohort starting March 2025. • Partnered with Snow Foundation to provide wrap-around support for Snow Entrepreneurs and co-designed the Lead the Way leadership program for CEOs and senior leaders from 15 for-purpose organisations. • Continued the Australia and New Zealand Impact Campaign for Uncharitable Movie and advanced women-focused enterprises via RISE Women. • Delivered the inaugural Scale for Impact retreat in collaboration with The Mill House Ventures Ltd. to help ACT enterprises scale their mission. • Enhanced understanding of impact investing through sessions supported by Snow Foundation, Manos Foundation, Yarranabbe Foundation, and Siddle Family Foundation. • Partnered with Korn Ferry and First Nations Equity Partners to deliver a leadership retreat for KPMG Australia Partners at Hotel Etico Australia. • Integrated the Australian Leadership Hub (now an initiative of Social Impact Hub), continuing its legacy of leadership development. • Formalised CASEI (Council of Australian Social Enterprise Intermediaries) and co-developed the Five Stages of Social Enterprise Development. • Expanded our Professional Impact Network to 90+ members, welcomed Adam Long, Anna Forte, Claudia Limpert, Misha Williamson, Steven Miller, and Tamara Samuel, to the core team and celebrated promotions for Vera Borsboom and Gabriella Pirintji. • Released the Three Years of Scaling Impact report, showcasing the program's outcomes, key learnings, and future iterations to grow investment-ready social enterprises. • Continued our skilled volunteering partnerships with Macquarie Group and KPMG as part of the RISE program to enable social enterprises to access pro bono support. This prestigious fellowship offers not-for-profit CEOs and executive directors the chance to attend the 'Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management' course at Harvard Business School - a transformative learning designed to enhance leadership and strategic decision-making. Over seven days, participants will develop core skills for leading not-for-profits, learn to implement impactful strategies and drive meaningful change within their organisations.
