We would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our clients and advocates for your ongoing support, advocacy and collaboration. As we get ready to celebrate our 10th birthday in 2025, we recently spent time together as a team to reflect on the business - its journey and its future. We have lots of exciting announcements for 2025 to ensure we continue to bring best in class advisory and training services to the industries we work in. We work to support the industries of visitor economy, workforce development and economic development with the vision of supporting communities and their economies to thrive. Our job is clear, to act as the back stage crew for our clients, solving problems and creating opportunities so you can shine centre stage. We love that we have been able to over the years do this for so many organisations across Australia, NZ and South East Asia. As we have for the past nine years, in lieu of client gifts we donate to three charities nominated by the team in addition to our regular giving program. This year we are donating to The Fred Hollows Foundation, Headspace and Australian Brain Cancer Foundation. So we can fly into the 2025 year the team will be taking a break from Monday, 23 December, returning on Monday, 6 January. Wishing you and your loved ones a safe, joyful and happy festive season. Giovanna, Naivedhya, Naomi, Justine, Federico, Morgan and Jackie. ID: The Sparrowly Group team wearing Christmas accessories smiling and having fun. About us
We believe that organisations are powerhouses for creating change and creating a better future for the world. So if organisations are thriving, so too will communities, industries, economies, and individuals. That’s why our vision isn’t about us. It’s about the work we do as management consultants having a far-reaching impact – impact that’s immediate as well as for the future. We solve problems and create opportunities for organisations and people, so they can thrive. And we support them to become robust and resilient, and thrive through change. As for our day-to-day, our consultancy work takes many forms. We advise, we strategise and we co-create. The projects we work on are varied and complex. And we like it that way – we prefer to be the team behind the scenes that helps organisations and people make an impact. Because the best growth happens when people are enriched with knowledge, skills and aptitude for continuous improvement. Where innovation is built into the process. When decisions are made on evidence and data. And when success positively influences the people in the organisation, the community and environment around it. We empower teams and people with the strategic direction and tools they need to help them make a positive impact. We make connections between people and concepts to improve and innovate. Our team is cross disciplinary – which means our management consultants solve problems and create opportunities in ways that are lateral, evidence driven and customer centric.

Lots to kick up ones heels about when making the finalist cut for Employer of the Year and Sustainable Group of the Year when amongst some huge guns in The Travel Corporation and TAG. Last night the Travel Weekly Women in Travel Awards celebrated women who work in or support the booking and experience stages of the customer journey. We at Sparrowly Group are the behind the scenes backstage crew supporting and leading from behind so the whole industry can sparkle! **Sparrowly Group releases latest edition of Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Paper** On today’s United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we are excited to release our 2024 edition of the Accessible and Inclusive Tourism paper, Creating Real Inclusion: A Call to Arms to the Tourism Industry. This year’s paper dives deep into key themes like inclusive place design, responsive experiences and digital accessibility, featuring case studies from businesses leading the way. At Sparrowly Group, we believe inclusion is not just about compliance - it’s about creating unforgettable, authentic experiences for all. We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the years in our work. As well as thank the operators who are featured in this edition for their time and input as we worked on this year's release. We welcome your feedback, questions and news of how your destination or business is working towards access and inclusion for all and we encourage you to share this with your colleagues and friends. We are thrilled to announce that last night Sparrowly Group won Silver in the Service to the Tourism Industry at the NSW Tourism Association Awards. We are exceptionally honoured and humbled by this recognition and thank NSW Tourism Association for this new category that recognises the behind the scenes support teams to the industry. We were in great company with our friends at TRC Tourism who won Gold and Hipscotch who took out the Bronze. Every day we show up with our values of connection, integrity, connection, diversity, evidence-driven and legacy in front of our minds. What we loved so much last night was seeing so many of the businesses and destinations that we work with be celebrated last night and to have their achievements shared with industry. When we hear this we know that we have done our job right and especially fulfilled our legacy value - that is to "leave our people in a better place than we found them, and with the tools to carry on without us". ID1: Jackie, Giovanna and Justine standing together smiling. Behind them is the event media wall with many logos. ID2: Giovanna seated looking at the camera smiling.
