We’re thrilled to announce that Transdev John Holland Buses NSW sleighed it this year, taking first place in Transport for NSW’s annual Christmas Bus Competition! Our festive bus lit up Sydney streets like a shining star, decked out as a moving Christmas tree with twinkling LED lights and plenty of holly jolly vibes. It was tremendously popular with judges and customers alike! Special guests joined the fun, including Mateo from the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Parliamentary Secretary Dr Marjorie O'Neill MP, Member for Penrith Karen McKeown and Transport for NSW Co-ordinator General Howard Collins, OBE. A big round of applause to our honorary elves, Moz and Angela, whose creativity and festive spirit was contagious! You’ve shown how teamwork can light up the season and warm hearts everywhere. Here’s to more moments of joy as we drive toward a brighter, cheerier Christmas!

A huge thank you to Transport for NSW and everyone who made this moment possible—our team, partners, and the community. Your hard work, collaboration and support have delivered a service that will transform communities. As we look ahead to welcoming even more passengers onboard, we’re proud to be driving a future-ready, sustainable public transport network. Here's to many more journeys together!

This year, Transdev Mana Newlands is proud to support the Cystic Fibrosis Christmas Tree Festival at Wellington Airport. Featuring more than 60 decorated trees, the festival raises funds for Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand (CFNZ) to support the 600+ Kiwis living with this life-threatening condition. We’ve joined this meaningful cause by decorating our sponsored tree with shiny Mana buses. If you’re passing through Wellington Airport, see if you can spot it and find out more about this event here https://bit.ly/3Dh4ezH

Its official! Transdev Queensland customers can now use a contactless credit or debit card, smartphone or smart device, in addition to your go card, to pay for your travel. This exciting update means buses and ferries across the Redlands are now contactless payment-friendly. To mark the launch of Smart Ticketing, teams from Department of Transport and Main Roads, SeaLink Marine & Tourism and Transdev gathered together to celebrate this exciting milestone! We’ll see you out on the network and field any questions about contactless payment. For more information about Smart Ticketing and how it makes paying for travel easier, visit https://lnkd.in/gWyyzJq

It was a pleasure to celebrate Asuria Australia’s inaugural First Nations Customer Service Pre-Employment Program graduation event earlier this year, held at Dalmarri, on Dharug land, in Sydney’s Western suburbs. Dalmarri, meaning "meeting place", was the perfect venue for this special occasion—bringing together graduates, employers, and community leaders to celebrate, learn, and connect. We’re committed to building meaningful employment pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and proud to have played a role in the creation of this program, which was delivered by METS Training Services and funded by Training Services Congratulations to the graduates on this milestone! Whether with us or any of the other employers who attended the event, we’re looking forward to supporting them as they embark on their careers. May your paths be filled with growth, learning, and success. 🎉

Transdev was honoured to participate in Babana Aboriginal’s Employment Day last month —a wonderful opportunity to connect with First Nations jobseekers, Elders, and community members – on Wareamah (the Dharug name for Cockatoo Island). It was a privilege to "yarn" together, share stories and showcase the diverse career opportunities within Transdev. We were thrilled to have representatives from all three of our Sydney transport modes on hand, proudly sharing our vision and commitment for reconciliation. The event was made even more impactful through connections with other dedicated organisations, including Tribal Warrior Aboriginal Corporation, Tribal Warrior Talent, Asuria Australia, and The NRMA, each equally passionate about supporting and empowering Indigenous communities. A huge thanks to Babana Aboriginal Men's Group for hosting this inspiring event! We look forward to continuing these meaningful relationships as we work together toward a more inclusive future. 🌏 Today is International Day of People with Disabilities! 💙 This year’s theme is amplifying the leadership of people with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future. At Transdev, we believe in creating an environment where everyone can thrive. One way we contribute to this vision is through the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower - Australia & New Zealand program 🌻. This initiative supports people with non-visible disabilities, enabling them to travel with confidence by signalling they may need extra time, understanding, or assistance. We’re proud to champion inclusivity through this program and others that align with our commitment to an equitable future. 👉 Check out our accessibility commitments here: https://bit.ly/4eBOWSX 👉 Learn more about the Sunflower program: https://bit.ly/3B9in10 Together, let’s make transport accessible for all! 💛
