The Ashford is located within the vibrant and emerging village precinct in the Hills District, just moments from Showground Metro station. Addressing both Ashford and Partridge Avenues, the project comprises a courtyard form and a linear form. The buildings, defined by concrete portals and vertical brick rhythms reminiscent of townhouses, maximise the northern sunlight and ensure a harmonious transition from the street level to the upper tiers. This week we celebrated a significant milestone for Boronia Apartments. The project team came together to enjoy a topping out ceremony at the site on Bourke Street, Waterloo. We're another step closer to delivering 74 apartments close to a range of community facilities, retail and Green Square and Waterloo stations for people on very low to moderate incomes. The topping out celebrated the achievements of City West Housing alongside Growthbuilt and other partners who have worked tirelessly to deliver the project to date. A tree was craned onto the roof slab to signify the topping out, followed by lunch to celebrate the team’s collective efforts. Boronia Apartments is expected to be completed and occupied by mid-2025. DA lodged for Kings Bay Village, Five Dock 🎉 Kings Bay Village will be the first major urban renewal project in support of the Government of New South Wales (NSW Government)'s vision to revitalise the Parramatta Road Corridor. In addition to creating much-needed housing supply, the proposal seeks to transform this industrial area into a thriving community with green corridors linking to the Parramatta River, a public park, an outdoor plaza and a pedestrian-centric town centre. We are excited to see our Brentford, London project emerging as the scaffold begins to drop. We attained planning approval for Redrow and Catalyst Housing Limited after a positive collaborative process with the London Borough of Hounslow. Being delivered by Telford Homes and Peabody, the project comprises 420 homes and 4,000 sqm of retail/commercial across three podium-connected buildings. The development is already establishing itself as a distinctive landmark in the Brentford Stadium precinct, visible from Gunnersbury and the Chiswick Curve. Situated between the low-scale residential conservation area, the park, the stadium and the Golden Mile, the architecture picks up elements of its language from the nearby Wallis Tower and Gillette Factory adjacent to the M4 flyover. #London #Brentford #Development #MixedUse #Apartments Kevin Driver | Timmy Lum
