W Sydney is proud to be part of the 2024 Marriott International APEC Sustainable Bartender Championship presenting ‘Rising Stars’. An initiative to develop, challenge and transform bartenders and their creativity in curating beverages with a focus on sustainability. Sustainability is at the forefront for W Sydney, aligning with W Hotels’ passion point of ‘Stance’, where the hotel looks to locally source items, adopt anti-waste techniques, incorporate upcycled ingredients and reduce the use of plastic throughout the hotel. W Sydney has two talent taking part in the competition Sandra Tiong and Ngametua F. who have crafted two zero waste cocktails called ‘The Revival’ and ‘Bee’s Knee’s’ available across the hotel’s bars and restaurant for a limited time only.
