Zonely finally got to Gordon after two washed out rounds! This pesky rain can really disappear, amiright? Sharni and Cass welcomed newcomer Bruce and a nice twilight round was had by all. 😁 February and March is looking GOOD! The course was looking spectacular thanks to the rain and Kaz sunk a 20 foot putt for birdie! Thanks to everyone who has supported Zonely this year. 🙏 There are too many people to name, but you know who you are. From our beloved Zonely community to our startup friends, mentors, program leads and co-workers! 👏🏼 Through the rollercoaster, one this is certain. People are using Zonely to try golf as a beginner, to return to the sport after a hiatus or they are choosing to join us to find their fun, inclusive and kind community. ❤️ There are so many moments we are pleased about that we want to mention as we tie up 2024 in a little bow. It also helps to remind us that although things have been very difficult at times, there are still so many successes and steps in the right direction that we have made! 🏌️♀️ We became an official social golf club, affiliated to Golf Australia and Golf NSW where you can get a handicap as part of your membership along with loads of other benefits 🏌️♀️ Zonely was the first social golf club in Australia to sign the Women In Golf Charter from the The R&A 🏌️♀️ Zonely won the award for Excellence in Community Engagement at the inaugural Women in Golf Charter Awards 🏌️♀️ We won the Spark Women in Business Grant for delivering impact as a female founder 🏌️♀️ We won the Fishburners Pitch night in September 🏌️♀️ Alicia completed oh so many programs including the Macquarie University Incubator, the Ascent Accelerator Program at Fishburners, the University of Technology Sydney Growth Funding and The Community Collective Cohort #5! 🏌️♀️ Alicia was mentioned in the Startup Muster report alongside 19 other female founders who support the ecosystem and deserve more recognition. 🏌️♀️And Alicia was voted into the top 100 most powerful women in sports tech by the ASTN - Australian Sports Technologies Network. 2025 will be a new horizon. We are looking forward to taking a break and then being laser focused on our plans for the new year. It was a very Zonely Christmas at SHORTEES GOLF on the weekend for our final Pitch and Putt round for 2024! I think...?? 😉 Thanks to the wonderful crew who joined and chipped their way around the short course. 🏌️♀️ Plus they almost witnessed another hole in one... It was unreal. The research she does and the safe space she creates is just wonderful.
