As a Client Director you are responsible for having a deep understanding of your client’s business and challenges - this is not limited to just media & advertising. You will work with the Client Partner & Client Managing Partner to uncover challenges to drive your clients business forward but also offers commercial opportunity for EssenceMediaCom. You will be curious, passionate, enthusiastic and ultimately indispensable to the client and their business.
Responsibilities
- - Role model effective communication skills/ practices
- - Drive the team culture through development of team engagement plan
- - Build strong relationships with each of the SBUs
- - Promote the connections planning process
- - Work closely with the Strategic Planner on the creation of unique and insightful channel strategies that meet the client needs
- - Share ‘great work’ – from your team with the wider agency & also from EssenceMediaCom with your clients
- - Be aware of awards as they arise and identify client campaigns that can be entered
- - Work with the Client Managing Partner on developing action plans that continually improve performance evaluation scores (e.g. TRR, third party or client-owned reviews).
- - Build/Maintain strong client relationships through best in class servicing
- - Have a high level of face to face interaction with clients
- - Immerse yourself in the client’s business, category and market trends.
- - Identify, create and convert strategically relevant revenue opportunities for EssenceMediacom’s diversified services
- - Assist the Client Partner to accurately forecast revenue and billings
- - Manage the client’s and EssenceMediaCom’s financial processes accurately (e.g. ensure that any 90+ day debt is minimised)
- - Have visibility on the resource in the team and its profitability – regularly checking staff/cost ratios and timesheet analysis
- - Track all Clients PRIB (where relevant) on a monthly basis
