The Director, Group Funding is responsible for leading NAB’s Debt Investor Relations activities globally. This involves communicating the Group’s strategic objectives, performance, and wholesale funding activities to debt investors and other, Rating Agencies and Regulators. Arranging and participating in NAB’s investor meetings and roadshows is a key part of this.

- Showcase extensive experience operating effectively and delivering consistent results in a large and complex organisation.
- Develop and implement NAB’s debt investor relations strategy to support NAB’s strategic priorities and funding plan.

- Prepare and implement the annual debt investor relations strategy for NAB Ltd and coordinate with BNZ. This includes planning and arranging debt investor meetings and roadshows.
- Manage key Debt IR external relationships across debt investors, rating agencies and investment bank.
- Identify and manage issues and risks that may impact the reputation of NAB with debt investors and other key stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with Equity IR, Legal and other stakeholders on disclosure documents including co-ordinating the Investor Presentation for Group Treasury and Green Bond Framework.
- Play a key role in the development, documentation, and communication for NAB’s ESG strategy and activities as they relate to debt investors and NAB’s Green Bond Framework.
- Significant experience managing a diverse group of external and internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, investors and regulators.
- Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, strong influencing and negotiating abilities, strong emotional intelligence and be highly self-motivated.
- Along with expert financial analysis, interpretation, and problem resolution skills, possess a sound knowledge of dealing with change in large complex organisations.
- Corporate finance, treasury, financial markets, or investor relations experience.
- Understanding of ESG issues and thematic bond frameworks (e.g. green bonds).
- Ability to travel domestically and overseas for investor meetings.
- Sound experience in treasury, capital markets or investor relations.
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications (e.g. CFA, Masters, CA, CPA, MBA) preferred.
