Your Role
OPERATIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE
- Ensure compliance with taxation and statutory authorities, including managing transfer pricing documentation in line with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) rules, and prepare of direct and indirect tax returns (e.g., Income Tax Return, BAS) with a focus on driving efficiencies.
- Manage preparation of Annual Statutory Financial Reports.
- Perform company secretary tasks e.g., Appointment of Directors, resignation of directors, communication with ASIC.
- Implement all Internal Control procedures and reviews them periodically.
- Provide financial information, which is timely, meaningful & accurate to relevant stakeholders.
- To provide support to Chief Financial Officer on a range of topics and manage ad hoc companywide projects.
- To assist other departments to report information as requested by the parent company.
- To provide financial information and support to various organisational departments, advising them on insights, analysis and tools to help them make informed decisions that align with the company’s financial goals.
- Knowledge of ERP system (SAP) is good to have.
- Must have good computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong technical accounting and Tax knowledge.
- Must be analytical in the approach and prepared to question data.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Australian Taxation requirements and dealing with external Auditors is a prerequisite.
- Diploma or a Bachelor along with a CA or CPA qualification.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar Finance role with a medium to large organization.
- Must have a good working knowledge of all aspects of Finance.
