An exciting new role has been developed within Diamond Energy. The FP&A Manager will act as a key liaison between the finance department and various business units, driving financial performance through strategic budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and operational analysis. This role is critical in supporting the organization’s financial health and strategic objectives by providing insightful analysis and recommendations.

As The FP&A Manager You Will Be Responsible For

  • Leading the annual budgeting process in collaboration with business units.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed budget models and forecasts.
  • Monitoring and reporting on budget performance, providing actionable insights to drive cost control and revenue optimization.
  • Preparing and updating financial forecasts, incorporating business unit inputs and market trends.
  • Overseeing cash flow planning and forecasting to ensure liquidity for operational needs.
  • Conducting in-depth financial analysis of business operations to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Providing financial support for major projects and capital investments, including feasibility studies and post-implementation reviews.

You Will Be Successful In The Role If You

  • CA/CPA Qualified.
  • Successfully monitor and report on budget performance, providing actionable insights to drive cost control and revenue optimization.
  • Have ability to analyse variances between forecasted and actual performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to improve cash flow and manage financial risk.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of business operations to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide data driven insights into customer behaviour, energy consumption patterns.
  • Collaboration and relationship management.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Possess sound business acumen combined with problem-solving and decision-making skills
