The Opportunity

Our general practice team is looking for a Treatment Planner/Receptionist to join our large practice which is unlike any other. We are a multidisciplinary group, with our team consisting of over 80 practitioners, including board registered specialists, general dentists, hygienists and oral health therapists. Our business prides itself on the graduate dentist support and growth through a dedicated graduate dentist program that has been carefully refined over the last 25 years.

We are seeking a candidate who is a customer service expert and can apply their smooth and savvy communication skills to a variety of settings. You will work directly with a variety of General Dentists to support our patients with first class support and care. This position has potential for significant career growth and contribution to a growing business.

The Role

As one of our Treatment Planners, you will be a member of our reception team and be part of all front of house reception team activities as well administration support in the treatment planning squad. Your responsibilities will include:

• General Dental Reception
• Treatment planning and co-ordination.
• Management of specific appointment books.
• Processing HICAPS claims and account management.
• Liaising with patients and practitioners.
• Data entry and mailing tasks.
• Projects and administration as required.
  
  
  

Skills and Experiences:

The chosen candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Minimum 2-3 years experience working in the dental industry.
• Strong working knowledge in cosmetic dentistry and general dentistry.
• Proficiency in dental practice management software (Experience with Dental4Windows (D4W) is highly desirable but not essential).
• A high level of initiative and motivation.
• Expert customer service skills.
• Strong and adaptable communication skills.
• Well presented, with a warm, mature nature.
• Efficiency, with the ability to effectively prioritise, multitask and use common knowledge as required.
