In this Head of Fraud Services role, you will:

  • Lead and manage a large operational function, the Fraud Services teams, to help deliver exceptional fraud operations to customers across NAB with the primary objective to minimise fraud loss for the business and prevent customer detriment due to scams.
  • Develop and coordinate the implementation of risk management strategies, programs, and change projects to respond to all forms of Fraud Risk.
  • Be a key contributor to Fraud Operations Leadership Team and leader of the Fraud Services
  • team.
  • Lead continuous improvement strategies for productivity, utilisation, and optimisation to ensure operational excellence targets and achievements are met.

What you’ll bring:

  • Significant experience working at the Head of and/or Senior Manager level within Financial Services coupled with a background in Fraud/Scams/Financial Crime or equivalent operational units.
  • Deep knowledge of Fraud strategies, operations, risk and control environments and technology uplift opportunities to minimise loss associated with fraud & scams.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance, Regulatory and/or Risk and Change Frameworks.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to influence Executive level stakeholders.
  • A keen appetite for delivering operational improvements and uplifts.
