The Role
We are seeking expressions of interest for a HSEQ Advisor based in our Newcastle office.
This new role will see you supporting our wider HSEQ team and taking on some autonomy on site with our project-based needs, as well as working out of our office across multiple projects.
We invite interstate candidates to also apply, as we are able to offer a full-relocation package to your new home in Newcastle.
We also preface that the nature of our work can be quite regional, and so we require candidates to be comfortable with working away from home / DIDO.

Your Every Day
- Providing HSE advice and support to the project team.
- Conducting HSE audits, inspections, investigations and training/awareness sessions.
- Upholding and communicating HSE standards and implementing strategies to improve HSE performance.
- Assisting with the implementation of the HSE Management System and maintaining HSE registers.
- Liaising and providing support to the project to ensure compliance with relevant HSE laws, regulations, company policies and guidelines.
- Understanding and enforcing client specific safety standards and policies.
- 3+ years' experience within a similar capacity across civil, construction, mining and/or energy.
- Certification: Relevant qualifications and certifications in HSEQ.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of appropriate Australian Safety legislation, standards and codes.
- Demonstrated ability in advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work on regional projects as required.
