SENIOR BUSINESS BANKING MANAGER – PROPERTY FINANCE

We are looking for an experienced Business Banker (property) ready for a senior appointment to join our team, to manage a portfolio of business banking clients. This opportunity will see you focusing on the management of an existing specialised portfolio whilst growing strong referral sources, community links and new business partnerships as part of a team approach.

In this Senior Business Banking Manager role, you will

• Specialise in executing broker transactions, servicing broker clients.
• Assess economic value and risk potential of new business.
• Educate customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth.
• Proactively leveraging networks of internal and external contacts to help identify new referral opportunities.
• Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market.
• Talk to customers about their proposed annual business plans.
• Prepare and submit customer lending proposals with the support of our associate team.
• Working with internal specialists to best serve your customers.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• A passion for property finance & an established network within the broker industry.
• Strong business development skills.
• Demonstrated experience within business and/or credit assessment.
• Comprehensive understanding of business/ commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.
• Proven track record of quickly establishing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally
• A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
• A genuine passion for customer service.
  
  

This is full time position based at 395 Bourke Street, Melbourne.
