Congratulations to Bachelor of City Planning (Honours) alum Eloise Reddy on receiving a fellowship from the State Library of New South Wales as part of the inaugural Summer Fellow Program for 2025 👏 📚 The Summer Fellow Program facilitates and supports the use of the Library's unique collections for a three-month period of creative practice, study and research. Eloise's project will investigate how cultural planning theory of the 1980s-1990s has influenced contemporary placemaking practice in Australia.

🌟 What are our early career researchers currently working on? NHMRC Senior Research Fellow, Dr Claire Wilkinson said: “At the moment I’m interested in non-for-profit models of substance retail. In Australia, we have a range of non-for-profit alcohol retail establishments in various forms, including RSLs, community-owned pubs or other social clubs (like workers clubs). I’m examining how their premises compare to for-profit retail, like a pub, in terms of the drinking culture and availability of alcohol.” Find out more 🔗 https://lnkd.in/g8z5muWP 📸 Eleanor Godley
