The roundtable "Investigating organised crime: the power of open-source intelligence" provided us with first-hand insight into the various facets, challenges, opportunities, and risks of using OSINT as a tool to investigate organised crime. We would like to thank Emanuel Delia, Jesus Palomo, Antonio Rossi, Sebastiaan van de Poll, Maarten Van Knippenberg, for sharing their expertise with such a diverse audience. We also thank our partners Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), SCPS - Sustainable Cooperation for Peace & Security, #CHANCEnetwork Anti-Human Trafficking Intelligence Initiative (@TeamATII) for their invaluable support with logistics, content, and dissemination. A special thanks to the Mayor of Commune de Saint-Gilles - Gemeente van Sint-Gillis-Gilles, Jean Spinette, and all the municipal staff for hosting us once again—with their warm smiles—in the most beautiful hall of this majestic building, which proudly celebrates its 120th anniversary this year. We hope that these meetings contribute to the bold path that the municipality has undertaken in the fight against organised crime.
