🚨 Get ready for Data Week 2024 – Luxembourg❗ 🗓️ 10 December 2024 📍 Novotel Luxembourg Kirchberg Find out more and book your hotel 👉 https://lnkd.in/ejYESBqx Register here 👉 https://lnkd.in/e7vvFDYb 🎯 Initiated with the Data Spaces Symposium 2024 in Darmstadt and continued through Data Week – Leuven, this year’s DW trilogy will conclude on 10 December 2024, in Luxembourg, through an event organised in collaboration with Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), Netcompany-Intrasoft and Luxembourg National Data Service (LNDS). 🙏 Data Week - Luxembourg is set to take place at Novotel Luxembourg Kirchberg one day prior to the Data Summit Luxembourg, organised by LNDS, which will allow the event attendees to stay in Luxembourg and join both events. #️⃣ Data Week will gather 100-200 participants from the Data & AI ecosystem, BDVA family and friends, while also reaching out to the local scene. It is a one-day event. 📖 The agenda is under construction and will be shared on the website shortly. We plan to focus the event on the co-creation of new project ideas and brokerage for WP2025 among others. Participants will delve into various AI models such as Large Pre-trained Models (LPtMs) and distributed / collaborative machine learning (e.g., neurosymbolic learning, active learning,), which enhance human-AI teaming by combining human creativity and contextual understanding with AI's data processing and predictive capabilities. The session will also cover approaches to fostering trust and transparency through Explainable AI (XAI) techniques that can used in conjunction with the above-listed models (e.g., neuro symbolic AI), which ensure that AI systems are interpretable and align with ethical standards. Finally, the discussion will address the compliance of the approproaches of the different projects with regulatory frameworks, particularly the EU’s AI Act, which mandates risk-based compliance measures for high-risk AI systems to safeguard human rights and safety. Overall, attendees will gain insights into creating AI systems that are not only innovative and able to efficiently interact with humans, but also compliant with emerging legal standards for trustworthy AI. The session completes a set of workshops recently organised by IDSA and with the participation of some leading edge HEP and DEP projects about the convergence between Data Spaces in Manufacturing and Digital Product Passports. International Manufacturing-X will give a short introduction not just reporting about the recent meeting in the US, but also reporting about the progress status of the different German -X initiatives. In particular, one initiative from Austria about DPP and MAN-X will be presented. After that, CIRPASS and CIRPASS-2 projects in the Digital Europe Pragramme will give their view about semantic interoperability of Data Spaces for the development of Digital Product Passports. Finally, Circular TwAIn (MiE and ADRA innovation action in HEP) will present how to build a Battery Data Space for Circularity and its relevance in the Digital Battery Passport domain.
