🤗 Last week, B-WISE was there at the baSE policy lab on skills in the proximity and social economy ecosystem, organised by Social Economy Europe and Diesis Network. Alongside Marta Bruschi from the #GRAINS Project and Mickaël Bianchin from CECOP, we explored ways to enhance upskilling and reskilling opportunities while ensuring alignment with the ecosystem's principles and values. 💡 A key takeaway was the role of SocioComp, developed through the baSE project, as a crucial tool for harmonising skills and competences within the ecosystem, including those of #WISEs. This initiative will help structure and streamline skills development across various actors in the sector. ⚙️ ENSIE NETWORK’s Project Coordinator, Martina Paterniti, representing B-WISE, highlighted the evolving skills needs of WISE staff — enablers, supporters, and workers with support needs. She emphasised how these needs shift throughout a WISE’s lifecycle: in start-up phases, managers focus on team-building skills, while in consolidated WISEs, the priority shifts to organisational development and decision-making strategies. 👀 Looking ahead, we are eager to learn more about and contribute to the Union of Skills, which will be soon launched by the European Commission. 🔗 More insights and data on these trends are available in the Report on trends and challenges for WISEs in Europe, developed by B-WISE, at the link here: https://bit.ly/42Z4IVM

😊 B-WISE was there at the Congress of La fédération des entreprises dinsertion, that took place in Lille last week! 💡 The event worked as the national promotional event for France, and saw the participation of around 400 participants. During the event, the European cooperation established by B-WISE for the skills mobility across Europe was presented, along with the Sectoral Skill Strategy developed at European level for the next years. The discussion also featured a focus on two countries for their own system of WISES in Italy and in Catalonia. 📢 The event helped to communicate the results of the B-WISE project to key stakeholders and WISEs in France, and to discover contents of the French MOOC, developed by La Fédé and AFPA through artificial intelligence, adapted from B-WISE curricula, by stressing the great added value of micro-credentials, thanks to Open Badges.
