He’s a recognised authority on utilities’ regulation and electricity, gas and carbon market design. Fabien is also Associate Professor in Economics at the Université Paris Dauphine - PSL and at the Florence School of Regulation.    💡Tahir Kapetanovic, Vice –Chair of ENTSO-E’s Board and Vice-President of APG Austrian Power Grid AG, possess over 30 years of experience in energy systems, spacing from managing regional coordination to operational network codes. At ENTSO-E he previously chaired the System Operations Committee, managing regional coordination and operational network codes.    💡Rafael is currently the Acting Head of the Energy System Needs Department at EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER). His fields of expertise are adequacy, regulations and energy markets. 💡Jana Palkova is Director of Support services divison in Skupina VSE Holding - Východoslovenská energetika Holding a.s. and DSO Entity Board Member. ⭐Last Friday, DSO Entity held the second webinar of the Grid Connection Paper (➡https://lnkd.in/eFczhEQe ) series titled ‘Connecting the surge of renewables to the distribution grid: How can #digitalisation contribute to supporting DSOs?’ and part of DSO Entity’s contribution to the delivery of the #GridActionPlan.     🗣️Ricardo Renedo Williams (European Commission), outlined the importance of DSO Entity’s role in delivering the #GridActionPlan stating that: ‘the direction set by the Grid Action Plan is solid. 📣 The Business Continuity Management workshop took place in Lisbon, kindly hosted by E-REDES.    Yesterday’s workshop was the third of its series and it focused on knowledge sharing between DSOs, namely one of our core #KnowledgeSharing pillars.    🧠 Participants  delve deep into how a Business Continuity Plan is created, how to activate BCM and how to deal with threats, including extreme weather phenomena and #cyberattacks.     👏 Thanks to all participants! She has more than 30 years of experience in the EU Institutions, leading policy development, competition, sustainable development, climate and energy. Did you know she also served as Economic Counsellor in the European Union Delegation to the United Nations in New York?     💡 Ms. Anna Stürgkh is a Member of the European Parliament and serves on the #ITRE committee, focusing on industry, research, and energy policy. She also acts as substitute member of #ENVI and #ICO committees.     💡Ms. Marianna Jakab is the chair of the Energy Working Group of the Council of the European Union during the #HungarianPresidency. She joined the Hungarian Ministry of energy as part of the first EU Presidency Team of Hungary in 2011. Since then, she has been working for the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the EU acting as energy team leader.     💡 Mr. Luis Vale Cunha, responsible for EU affairs at E-REDES, is currently Board Member of DSO Entity and Chairman of the European ETIP SNET. 🟢🇪🇺 Live from European’s Commission PCI Energy Days! 🗣️Secretary General Peter Vermaat, Board Member Raf Bellers (Fluvius) and Country Expert Group (CEG) member Tomas Sipos participated in the high-level panel: ‘One year of the EU Grid Action Plan: making distribution networks ready to support Europe’s competitiveness and energy transition’.  One year after the signing of the Grid Action Plan, panelists met to discuss what have been done so far and the next steps. ✍️ Peter took the floor and hempasised on how the GAP adequately summarised the exact right priorities for both #TSOs and #DSOs to work on. He pointed out especially the need to invest, both expanding and smartening the grids. “We need to take into account the value investments create, such us accelerating the #energytransition and the reduction of CO2 and keeping the competitiveness between industries”. ✍️Our Board Member Raf took the floor focusing on the needs of the #supplychain, especially on how his company, Fluvius, is making sure that all needs are well considered. He gave us a concrete example on how companies are dealing with the challenges of the electricity sector.
