📝 Yesterday, we have sent a letter to decision makers in the European Commission with priorities for the upcoming European Research and Innovation Framework Programme #FP10, particularly in terms of its budget, and which reiterates the importance of collaborative research. EUREC’s main policy recommendations for FP10 are to:   ▪️ double the budget of FP10 to at least €200 billion for the next 7-year period;  ▪️ build a project pipeline along the value chain of TRLs via connecting FP10 with other funds;   ▪️ reinforce the use of PPPs in FP10 and consider extending it to other renewable energy sectors;  ▪️ at least 50% of FP10’s budget to fund collaborative work under ‘Clusters’ in Pillar II;  ▪️ increase the proportion of the budget going to ‘Clusters’ on ‘Digital, Industry and Space’ and ‘Climate, Energy and Mobility’.
