📚 Winter reading list The Global Plastics Treaty is an international agreement currently under negotiation to reduce plastic waste – a topic particularly important if we do not want our oceans to become huge garbage patches. After two years of negotiations, there is still no agreement – hopefully, the negotiations will be taken up again in 2025 to achieve this important milestone for biodiversity protection. We followed the negotiations and wrote about what needs to be done: 🔹 Finalising the Global Plastics Treaty Key Issues and Steps Towards Effective Implementation https://lnkd.in/eeNVxcpa 🔹 Plastics Treaty negotiations: Time for European leadership https://lnkd.in/edtq5-UU 🖊️ Romain Collet, Jacob Kean-Hammerson, Geneviève Pons-Deladrière
