[ What a Fantastic Winter Workshop in the Czech Republic! ] From November 16-21, 2024, the EAS Student Group (EAS-SG) held another successful Winter Workshop in the beautiful Czech Republic. It was truly inspiring to see our National Coordinators from across the Europe come together, sharing ideas, and shaping the future of the group, and Silvia Natale in her new role as Student Representative on the EAS Board of Directors. A heartfelt thanks to Lenka Kajgrová, Anıl Axel Tellbüscher, Tomáš Pěnka, Alžběta Strouhová, Lukáš Beránek, Jan Škrabánek for their amazing support in organizing this event and to Fakulta rybářství a ochrany vod JU – you made it all possible! Last week, the IGNITION Project team gathered in Porto, Portugal, for its 4th progress meeting. The event brought together partners to review the latest advancements in the project, exchange insights, and align on future objectives. Representing the European Aquaculture Society (EAS), Executive Director Alistair Lane and Project and Programme Manager Ana Visković actively contributed to the discussions, highlighting the importance of collaboration in advancing aquaculture innovation.
