European Business Registry Association (EBRA)

🟠 I attended the European Business Registry Association (EBRA) the General Assembly - member’s meeting in Madrid hosted by Registradores de España Colegio de Registradores as part of the Dutch delegation of Kamer van Koophandel with Lisette Oostveen and Willo Eurlings 💼In my other role as chair of the audit committee, representing the interests of all the members of the European Business Registry Association (EBRA), we as a committee, had the opportunity to address the board with questions about the association and plans for the future. ✅ I would like to express my gratitude to my fellow committee members Ulf Karnell and Kersti Rätsep for their valuable contributions. 🟡 The GA provided a functional mix of formal and informal discussions on EU-related topics, helping to strengthen our position as an umbrella organization. The primary goal of the meeting was clear: to ensure robust representation in Brussels through the network of European business registers and to establish a united stance on existing and new legislation. ➡️ While the challenges ahead are significant, so are the opportunities. This will set the stage for meaningful progress for European business registers and for Europe as we look ahead to 2025 and beyond. El Registro Mercantil es una institución presente en todos los países de la Unión Europea.
