  • 🙌 Setting the scene for Europe in East Asia for 2025! This week, we wrapped up the year with two fantastic events in China and Japan, bringing our members and partners together to strengthen ties and shape the future of Asian travel to Europe. 📍 In Guangzhou, ETC co-hosted a trade event and VIP dinner in collaboration with The Bicester Collection and G2 Travel. We focused on reconnecting with Southern China’s travel trade and promoting off-season European travel products for 2025. 📍 In Tokyo, we organised a vibrant travel trade and media workshop at the Delegation of the EU in partnership with the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA). This event celebrated the year’s achievements while setting the stage for future European travel programs in 2025. 👏 Thank you to our members in China and Japan for working together to promote responsible travel to Europe — looking forward to continuing our collaboration in 2025!

  • 🙌 Embracing the European spirit in Luxembourg! Our General Meeting #108 is in full swing, hosted by Luxembourg for Tourism GIE in the heart of Europe 🌍 👉 It’s been a busy day, packed with discussions on the future of European tourism, sharing destination priorities, and plans for 2025. A special thank you to Marlène Bartès for updating us on the European Commission's future initiatives as we begin a new EU policy cycle.   🗣 Building on yesterday’s conversations, our members also participated in an engaging workshop on storytelling and sustainable mobility. Together, we explored innovative ways to promote the #JourneyIsADestination concept and craft compelling narratives that inspire travellers to embrace slow travel. 🛂 Another highlight was last night's visit to Schengen, where we enjoyed a memorable dinner in this charming village at the crossroads of Benelux, Germany, and France 🗺 — the birthplace of Europe’s free and seamless travel. A truly fitting way to celebrate the spirit of European tourism and unity. 📸 Pancake! Photographie
