𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 live from Ferrara 🇮🇹 Some learnings about social, economic and policy dimensions of #resilience: 🟣 Giliberto Capano: Robustness is among the key drivers for policies on resilience - and that implies considering dimensions of policy design such as organisational, instrumental and political aspects of the policy ecosystem. 🟣 Francesco Nicolli: the political discussion about resilience is usually focused on short-term responses, but this is a process that should involve learnings leading to long-term strategies. 🟣 Valeria Rijana: There is a need for a paradigm shift from “building resilience” to “managing resilience” and reinforce the value of social networks to effectively put in practice the already recognised role of communities in societal resilience. 📢 “HOW HEALTHCARE CAN REMAIN RESILIENT DURING CRISES - part 2” - 30th October 2024, 15:00 – 17:00 EET (UTC+02:00), online. This is the second workshop to be hosted by BAPEMED: Bulgarian Association for Personalized Medicine, and the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, as part of the FUTURESILIENCE project. The event will focus on evaluating potential future crisis scenarios that the Bulgarian healthcare system may encounter, with the goal of ensuring its preparedness and resilience in facing these challenges. 💡 The scenarios, developed by CIFS experts, are based on insights gathered at a prior event, where current and future challenges in Bulgarian healthcare system were identified and discussed. The current workshop will explore the potential impacts of various factors—such as present health sector issues, emerging technologies, climate change, etc., on the resilience of the healthcare system during crises.
